Phill’s Story

“We first met Kellyann in September 2015, a few weeks after Phill suffered a severe stroke resulting in very severe aphasia.  We knew immediately that the normal NHS speech therapy provision would not be enough to help Phill's recovery and wanted to supplement this with additional private therapy.

Kellyann impressed us both with her accurate assessment of Phill's capabilities and therapy needs.  Her NHS background has allowed her to focus his private therapy to compliment and support his NHS treatment as well as ensuring that key therapy lessons, goals and targets were not overlooked or under-prioritised.

Phill has made excellent progress under Kellyann's tuition and he feels much more positive about his future prospects than he had felt before we accessed private treatment.

I would definitely recommend Kellyann's services to anyone.  She has an excellent background and experience in all kinds of communication therapy, using various levels of technology, as appropriate to the task and client.  Kellyann has an enthusiastic approach to problem solving, thinking of a wide variety of innovative solutions.  She is patient and kind but also clear and firm in her approach, making her a pleasure to work with.”

Coral’s Story

“When my Mum suffered a huge stroke she was diagnosed with Aphasia and Apraxia. Specialist departments said that she couldn’t and wouldn’t be able to understand nor communicate. When I researched external help, and spoke with Kellyann, she opened up a whole world for mum that was supposed to have been lost. If you know anyone that has these issues PLEASE seek out her page. Her gift to humanity is incredible, and she brought Mum back to us at a time when it was so important.”
